She has always enjoyed helping people and even at her first job at the family's North Carolina clothing store, Joe Sugar's, she found a great deal of satisfaction assisting her customers. As a former teacher, librarian, and media specialist, she loved being able to impart information that helped her students navigate the path of knowledge that opened the doors to their futures. She considers herself a student of life and is invigorated merely by the thought of learning something new. She treasures all of her friendships , relishes being the grandmother of seven grandchildren and adores the life she leads, living by the coast and doing a job she is thrilled and energized by each and every day.

It's obvious from the moment you meet Fran that she cannot sit and be idle for very long. She is a go-getter who enjoys traveling and soaking up the sights in new places like Spain, but Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone have recently become some of her favorite destinations.

She is also an artist and is partial to painting nature, beach scenes and Mountain landscapes. She writes poetry, is an avid reader and going to the movies is one of her favorite hobbies. Fran loves to dance and it's a great outlet for her enthusiastic and vibrant spirit.
